Terms & Conditions for Translation Service:

  1. Price Calculation – When requesting us to prepare an offer, Client should provide the complete and finalized material for translation and specify the purpose of translation, whether it is for personal use or publication, etc. We will then submit a quotation based on our reading of the complete text which contains our proposal for the price and the time frame for completion. Prices will be quoted based on the number of pages or the number of words in the source document.

Calculation will be made using word processing software. In case of page-count rate, the number of pages will be defined based on the standard page format as follows:

  • Paper size: A4
  • Font type: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 12
  • Double space lining
  • Normal page margins

If calculation using software is not possible, the amount of text, by page or word, shall be defined based on our discretionary estimate.

Rates are negotiable and subject to the level of difficulty of the source text and the volume of the translation project. For a short deadline, the price might be set higher than described above.

Any additional work that comes with translating such as making and synchronizing layouts and picture composition will be subject to an additional charge.

  1. Confirmation – We will consider our offer to be accepted against receipt of a copy of the quotation with the Client’s signature. As a policy, we will start working on the translation upon the receipt of a down payment amounting to 50% of the total price quoted.
